Improved

Swiss & Global Accounting (IFRS-SME) Integrated: v.2.1.0

We have updated our financial architecture to improve accuracy, automation, and compliance. This release updates our accounting operations for both Swiss and global business models.

Swiss Accounting & Onboarding

  • We have added dedicated finance onboarding workflows to support the regulatory needs of Swiss businesses.

  • The system now handles Swiss company types so that the selected accounting variant remains stable throughout your financial setup.

  • We updated opening-balance validation to verify Swiss-specific requirements, including debit/credit handling, contra balances, retained earnings confirmation, and prior-year profit and loss closing checks.

Core Finance & Ledger Engine Upgrades

  • We added stricter chart-of-account and tax validation routines to prevent invalid mappings, duplicate account codes, incomplete tax setups, and incorrect system accounts.

  • We added stricter chart-of-account and tax validation routines to prevent invalid mappings, duplicate account codes, incomplete tax setups, and incorrect system accounts.

  • Core system accounting accounts and their underlying mappings are now protected from manual edits during setup.

  • We introduced accounting-book-specific base currency and accounting basis settings to support both accrual and cash accounting methods.

  • The system prevents accounting-book currency or basis changes, as well as deletion, once posting history exists within that book.

  • Bank accounts and expense categories are now linked to their correct general-ledger accounts to prevent data misalignment.

  • We implemented accounting-book-specific fiscal periods to replace tenant-wide periods across the platform.

  • Users can now create missing historical and current fiscal periods, fill period gaps, choose the active period, and lock or unlock periods.

  • The architecture blocks all finance postings into locked periods to protect historical data within closed accounts.

  • We updated financial posting workflows for invoices, payments, credit notes, expenses, and expense payments across their creation, update, approval, conversion, void, and deletion lifecycles.

  • Financial corrections preserve an audit trail through reversal entries instead of rewriting posted history.

  • We added system safeguards to prevent duplicate postings and the movement of posted data between different accounting books.

  • The ledger engine handles multi-currency journals with exchange rates and consistent base-currency values.

  • We introduced a Finance Posting Health view that identifies correctly configured, broken, fallback, and intentionally unsupported posting events.

  • The system runs daily automated generation and posting routines for all recurring expenses.

  • The platform runs daily automated conversion and posting workflows for all cycling invoices.

  • We established a finance ledger repair process to fix missing or stale native journal entries.

  • Workflow-driven finance record changes have been updated so that the business update and the ledger posting occur together in a single transaction.

  • The Account Ledger has been reworked to display genuine opening balances alongside running balances.

  • We updated book-specific and base-currency reporting capabilities across all areas of the finance engine.

  • The platform features updated calculations for the Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, tax reporting, receivables aging, payables aging, expense analysis, and vendor-ledger reporting.
